What Will Happen When Sheldon Confronts His Family History? Find Out During This Performance
From the writer of Checks and Balances comes a comedy steeped with historical references and ironic twists. Follow the journey of Sheldon Hoffman, a 40-something Jewish accountant, as he attempts to fulfill his mother’s last wish by transporting her ashes to Munich to be reunited with his father, a victim of the Holocaust. Things to Do in Munich will hit the stage on Thursday, November 8th at 8:00 p.m.
Upon his arrival in Germany in 1974, Sheldon is confronted by a web of bureaucracy, confiscation, misplacement, and redirection of his mother’s ashes. Even a manhunt and kidnapping come into the story. Ironically, it all leads to a final reunification with his parents... in the spiritual sense, of course.
